Q: How much does it cost to Cerakote my (insert gun name here)?
A: That depends.
There is a link to a basic price list near the top of this page. This should give you an idea of what you can expect to spend. Remember each part must be individually prepped, racked, sprayed, and cured. The more parts you want Cerakoted, the more the prices increase. Additional colors and stencilled patterns increase the cost as well. We will be happy to discuss options with you but it is generally more productive (and less time consuming) if you have a somewhat detailed list of which parts you want refinished.
Q: Do I have to disassemble my gun completely?
A: Yes and No.
Yes, the gun must be fully disassembled including removing sights from pistol slides prior to Cerakoting. No, you don't have to do this yourself if you don't want to. If you prefer, our armorer will disassemble your gun prior to refinishing and reassemble it afterward. This is NOT included in the price of Cerakoting. Currently, AR15 disassembly and reassembly is approximately $60. Most common handguns cost approximately $50 to $90 for complete disassembly and reassembly, including removal and replacement of sights. PLEASE NOTE: If you want to upgrade your pistol sights during reassembly, we will install CUSTOMER SUPPLIED drop-in sights FOR NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE - However, if your replacement sights require fitting or filing they will incur an additional surcharge. Also, if you want us to order new sights and install them we can do that too (prices will vary).
Q: What is your turnaround time?
A: That depends
Our turnaround times generally run from about 2-3 days up to about a week or so depending on the project. Currently, a single color refinishing job on your stripped frame/slide/receiver will probably be done in a day or two. A multi color camo job on your fully assembled AR15 rifle will probably take about a week. This is from the time the item arrives at our shop until it is completed, but it does not include shipping times where applicable. We do everything possible to get your parts back to you as quickly as possible but our top priorities are QUALITY and CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. If it's not right, it won't leave the shop until we make it right. We stand behind our work 100%.
Q: I live out of state. Can I ship my gun to you?
A: Yes you can!
